In the begining…

At six years old William wrote a short poem titled ‘Seagulls’, detailing their beauty, charm, and thieving ways. For this poem, he received his first award and from there his parents could not keep the pen out of his hand.

Twenty years later William is still writing. Now he writes high-fantasy, science-fiction and worldbuilds in his free time.

He is currently working on his debut novel, Only Human, and works on a large worldbuilding project called Ascension.

Answers for the people!

  • When writing, my main focus is on people. Where they come from, what they do and how life is for them. When writing larger stories I try to keep to those themes. How would an ordinary person survive in a world with dragons, magic and the undead?

  • Ascension is a project that spans thousands of years with 28 unique cultures and species, each with its own language, customs and religion. Each Era will have its own collection of books showcasing the people and their ways.

  • My goals are to publish my debut novel Only Human and finish an anthology series set in my worldbuilding project. I would also like to be further alone in a writing career than I currently am.

  • The main skills I have always wanted to improve at are writing multiple complex characters in one story that bounce off each other in a realistic way.

  • I can bring a fresh perspective, new ideas and experiences detailing isolation and anxiety.
