I began writing as a young boy, always focusing on large worlds and power fantasy. But as I grew older and gained less and less freedom as I moved into my teenage years I began writing about people who didn’t belong. Ordinary people just trying to find their place.

It wasn’t until one of the many super-hero films that I realised I was doing it. I thought to myself, “Imagine being just a guy owning a corner shop and some giant alien traps you under rubble. All the while hearing the heroes banter.”

So now that is my focus. Writing ordinary people in extra-ordinary worlds.
